MLB 13 Run baseball pools

Run Your MLB 13 Run Pool Online

Give every player an MLB team. The first team to score every run total from 0 through 13 wins. PoolZone keeps the grid, the assignments and the history in one place.

How an Online MLB 13 Run Pool Works

The commissioner sets up the roster and teams. PoolZone records run totals from MLB game results.

  1. Create your pool

Set up the pool, choose your scoring settings and invite your players. Record optional informational entry fees for your group.

  2. Set Active and Bench

Choose who is Active. Each Active player gets one unique MLB team. Bench players have no team.

  3. Start the pool

Every fresh pool starts blank at 0/14. Starting locks assignments, roster and settings.

  4. Complete the grid

Results from MLB games fill in each team's run totals. First to complete all 14 numbers wins.

MLB 13 Run Pool Rules

The rules are simple enough to explain in a group text.

One team per Active player

Each Active player holds one unique MLB team. No two players share a team, and Bench players hold none.

Score every total, 0 through 13

A team needs to score exactly 0 runs, 1 run, 2 runs and so on up to 13. That is 14 numbers in all.

First to finish wins

The first team to complete all 14 numbers wins the pool.

What about 14 or more?

A team score of 14 or more runs normally does not count. The commissioner may enable Count 14+ as 13 so those scores fill the 13 slot.

Commissioner controls before Start

Move players between Active and Bench, assign, swap or randomize teams, and edit informational fee and settings details until the pool starts.

Locked on Start

Once the pool starts, team assignments, the roster and settings lock.

Ties

If teams complete their last number on the same winning MLB date, they can share the victory after that date's results settle.

Automatic scoring

PoolZone supports automatic scoring from MLB results. It does not promise real-time updates.

History and new pools

Completed pools stay in your history permanently. You can start unlimited new pools after one completes, each blank at 0/14.

Pool Money Stays Between You and Your Players

PoolZone does not collect, hold or pay participant pool money. Any entry fee or prize amount you enter is informational only, and commissioners settle with their players directly.

Commissioners are charged only the normal PoolZone hosting or site fee. A permanent owner exemption exists for the site owner. It does not mean every commissioner hosts for free.

What Is an MLB 13 Run Baseball Pool?

An MLB 13 Run pool is an online MLB baseball pool for friends, coworkers or family. Each Active player is tied to one baseball team, and every time that team finishes a game the run total counts toward a checklist of 0 through 13.

Some totals appear repeatedly while others take longer. Each distinct total counts toward the 14-number grid, no matter how often it occurs.

Why run it on PoolZone

  • No spreadsheet to update after every game night.
  • Clear assignments and a fair randomizer for teams.
  • A permanent record of finished pools.
